Max von Sydow’s death is a great loss to the acting community. The Swedish actor passed away on March 8th. In his 65-year career, he made more than 100 movies and appeared in 30 TV shows. Besides, he delivered many incredible performances. Than, he bacame so famous that anyone could recognise him! Story

Born in Lung, Sweden, the young Carl Adolf von Sydow was always interested in arts and acting. He founded an amatur theatrical group at school and eventually graduated from the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm. Then, in 1955, he moved to Malmö, where he met his mentor Ingmar Bergman. Together, they made 11 movies including The Seventh Seal (1957), Wild Strawberries (1957) and The Virgin Spring (1960). This partnership was really important because it helped launch both of their careers in America. After moving to LA, von Sydow starred in many movies and became quite famous. Later, he moved to Rome and made a few  Italian movies. But he never stopped making appearances in Sweden productions.
