5. The Ed Sullivan Show
At the start of his career Jerry and his wife Meara had their comedy duo act portraying husband and wife. They performed together at The Ed Sullivan Show during the 60’s and 70’s. Later in 1986 they got their own comedy show. Unfortunately, The Stiller and Meara Show were not very popular at the time but it was their first show together.
4. Hairspray
Hairspray is a great musical film that tells a wonderful story about equality. Besides, Jerry is the only actor that appeared in both Hairspray movies. On the 1988 version he played Wilbur Turnblad and in the remake he appeared as Mr. Pinky. Both roles were filled with Stiller’s charismatic performances and dazzled us.
3. The King of Queens
The never ending rivalry between a man and his father in law can provide an impressive amount of comedy. In this one, Jerry decides to move in with his daughter and her husband after becoming a widower. Besides, his temper and questionable stories makes him one of the best characters in the show.
